Domestic Violence Public Awareness

Community Education Program

Our Community Education and Prevention Program advocates for survivors and prevents further abuse in our community. We educate to increase awareness about the issue and our services and challenge stigma. An understanding of the issue creates a safe and caring response from the community and increases access to services for victims. We present to community organizations, faith affiliates, businesses and more.

Working Together to Educate Our Community

We are proud to be part of this community and are committed to doing our part to make it safer for all. We work to make sure everyone is aware of the issue of domestic abuse and how they can be part of the solution by:

  • Providing presentations and training for local businesses, organizations, and faith groups – free of charge.
  • Hosting informational booths at community events.
  • Hosting an annual night of remembrance for victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence called Take Back the Night.
  • Hosting tours of our shelter facility and description of services – which are open to the community.

Please reach out to Eden, our Marketing and Education Specialist, at eden@christineann.net or 920-230-2916 to inquire about any of the above.

Support the Cause!

Just like any home, we have constant basic needs such as cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and coffee. We gratefully accept donations of these items and more. Please call ahead to arrange a time to drop off donations – 920-235-5998.
